I am presenting a workshop at the 2010 Literacy Texas Conference in Austin. The topic is how literacy programs can better work with public libraries. Adult Literacy Administration Workshops

We are now offering three online workshops for librarians who want to create or improve adult literacy programs in their library. The enrollment period for each of these courses is through July 19. All work must be completed by August 14 to receive CE/CPE credit. The content of the courses will remain available to anyone who enrolls, regardless of whether they complete the coursework.

Feed the Whole Person

Sponsors receive logo space on food collection boxes which are placed in libraries in Tarrant Area Food Bank counties. The food collected goes to the food bank, and the funds raised through sponsorship are distributed to basic literacy programs in the form of grants.
